This review is for Thistle Restaurant, not the Inn. My wife started with a Mocktail Citrus Spritz and I had an Orange Dragon. Both were very good, mine was quite boozy and lasted me until I finished my meal. We had the Tuna Tartare for an appetizer and it was very fresh with lots of flavor. My wife had Steak Tips and said it was the best meal of our 10 day trip. I had the daily special which was fresh bay scallop scampi on angel hair pasta. The food was excellent. We will definitely return next time we are in town. The seafood risotto was the favorite dish we had. There was also a cheaper pub menu which we ordered off for the kid, the chicken fingers with fries off of that menu were very good as well.
Great food and service. The scallops and risotto were amazing. The steak tips were also delicious. Lots of flavors. Our server Maria (sorry I misspelled the name, she was from Rumania) was super nice and helpful. Great place definitely we are coming back.
Delicious and delicate! The Haddock resting on basmanti rice was devine!!! I highly recommend this place!!!
We didn't stay at the in, but we did have dinner. Recommend reservations. Scallops were fantastic.
