This was not a good experience. We drove 3 hours to come to the spa for a bath and massage. We made reservations a couple weeks in advance. When we got there to do the massage they had overbooked, we either had to wait an hour of get reimbursed. They were not even slightly apologetic about their scheduling mess up. We could have gone to another spa but chose this one based on the reviews.
My wife scheduled massage appointments 3 weeks prior for a group of 3. When they arrived, they paid right away, but then they had to sit waiting one and a half hours. They were informed that the facility had "overbooked". Then after this wait, they were told it would be another hour wait! So 2 1/2 wait despite having appointments. This was my first experience with a bathhouse and I have thoughts - No information was given when making an appointment on where to find it & we are not staying in the hotel so finding it upstairs took a moment. Would have also loved to hear more about what to expect especially being from out of town and a first timer. I thought we would be in swimsuits but you are undressed around multiple workers and walk around in a sheet the other times. Made reservations 3 months before girls trip date. When we got there we were told they over booked and could not get us in. 3 people were told they could have services but would have to wait an hour because they overbooked. 3 were told they can't have services period. Boo! Great girls weekend and turns out we went to Thai massage and it was great. Glad they cancelled on us but it is still not ok to do that to people.
