This place is a waste of time and money it took 10 sessions during which zero progress was made and for them to tell me that they aren't experienced enough to deal with my condition. That was with "Dr. Karin Kantarovich" who was under supervision of "Dr Sprokay" I honestly felt that I was being leeched out of my needed money for my therapy they then did recommend/refer me to 2 other therapists elsewhere to give them credit for but the damage of wasted time & money was hugely felt still. I went to The Therapy Center for the first time and I was incredibly impressed. My psychologist, Dr. Felisha Sharma, was warm, understanding, and really took the time to make me feel comfortable. I feel like she truly understands and provides helpful support, I really recommend this place.
Everyone at the Therapy Centre (Toronto Location) has been phenomenal. I took my son there to be assessed and I honestly couldn't have had a better experience. Everyone there was very helpful, kind and responded to questions in a courteous and timely manner. I would 1000% recommend the Therapy Centre to anyone! Dr. Kim gave us validation for what we suspected was going on with my son and guided us through the process of assessment and gave us some supports for us to look into. The Intake coordinator, Libby was also GREAT!
Of you're not complex, the Therapy Centre is wonderful. If you are however, this place might not be for you; that's how my time with my therapist there ended. The last time we met, she went from telling me she would see me bi-weekly to finishing off to progressing by the the session to no, she wouldn't see me at all. The practice seems ethical, she obviously was in it for financial gain.
