My parents brought me here the first time in the middle 50's. when the stuffed horse was out front we actually have a picture of my mom posing on it. I'm sure it had to go after all the years it sat in the elements. This was one of the best parts of our trip from Illinois to Maine. My father is from Maine so we went every summer from The time I was a tiny baby all they way until I was 18 to visit family. I loved and still love the nostalgics of the shop. The toys are still the same. I hope to return again some day.
I use to visit this place every time we would visit my ex-husbands family when I was married! I absolutely love this place! Awesomesauce merchandise and great prices!!! ��
Very neat place first time there very nice knifes
I was about 8 (early 1950s) when first visiting The Teepee. Our mom would go out of her way on our trip to Utica to shop there. I still have my tiny Squaw doll which has gone with me wherever I go for the past 70 years. Special memories.
