Highly recommend Sarah! From our first visit with her I saw a positive change around meal times. She was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I’m really looking forward to our next session.
I've been visiting The Talbot Centre since I was an early teenager and am now 20 - for the most part the psychologists I have had have been brilliant. The only thing that prevented me from getting more out of the sessions as a young teenager was how hesitant I was to speak and share anything personal. A few of the psychologists kept having babies leaving me without a immediate replacement. I spent a long time trying to find a psychologist who is aware and understanding of my needs as a late-diagnosed neurodivergent person and I had an excellent experience with my psychologist at the Talbot Centre. I had the pleasure of meeting the entire team of The Talbot Centre recently and every single staff member is just lovely. It is a real testament to the culture of the organisation. Their facilities are also fantastic. So welcoming, calm, new and fresh, even with a kitchen where they can educate their clients and have some fun with them, while doing their therapy. I can highly recommend the staff from The Talbot Centre.
I sought the advice of Dr Amy Talbot when my 8 month old refused solids. Dr Talbot asked me a few questions to get an idea of what might be going on, and then gave me a range of new strategies to try to encourage my daughter to eat, things I never would have thought of. I was able to implement them straight away and since this conversation my daughter has started to enjoy solid foods and meal times are a much happier experience for my whole family. Can't recommend her highly enough.
