Living at The Edge or any of the Tahitian apartments is like dealing with a company full of children and scam artists. Management is almost impossible to get a hold of and will go as far as to ignore emails. The apartment is small and poor quality yet goes at the rate of a luxury apartment, the furniture is gross, and if you expect to receive any of your security deposit back you can forget about it. I had a frustrating experience as a tenant at The Tahitian. Despite fulfilling my lease terms from August 2022 to July 2023, I have faced unreasonable delays and lack of communication regarding my financials. It has been over a year, and they have yet to return my $1000 security deposit, nor have they refunded the excess rent I overpaid. The management’s lack of responsiveness and disregard for tenant rights have been incredibly disappointing. I strongly advise potential tenants to consider these issues before renting here.
I moved out in September after two years living here. Its going to be hard to live in another apartment but relocation called me away. The apartment was amazing. The staff was superb. Things were addressed quickly and professionally. I will miss it there for sure.
1. The manager entered my apartment without permission while I was in my shower. He knocked, waited about 30 seconds (not an over exaggeration) and entered my home and said he needed to do maintenance. 2. They will not give your security deposit back. We have called and sent emails and they were ignoring all of them. So we had to go to them in person.
