This was our place to have a bit before we trek into the Asheboro Zoo, and it was quite a pleasant place. Loved the kick in their pimento cheese sandwich and the ALT was good. For out of towners you do have to coexist with the bugs during outside seating
Very friendly staff and nice ambience. The ingredients are fresh and the food is tasty. I’m leaving four stars in reference to the grilled cheese sandwich. While it was delicious taste wise, it only had one piece of very thin un melted cheese on it. I would expect more cheese as well as it being melted on something you call a grilled cheese sandwich. We’ll call this place, The table with Taste. Such a dreamy spot for a bite to eat. Whimsical, relaxing and yummy. I can’t wait to go back to do some writing here. Make sure if you’re going on the weekend, go early, otherwise enjoy some conversation in line with friends — go relaxed. Trust me, the wait is worth it. Then take a stroll around town. Stopped on our way home. Very nice place to get a sandwich and drink. We did not try the bakery items but they looked delicious. Pleasant staff and very efficient. You place your order at the counter. You get a number for your table so that they can correctly deliver your food. We would stop again.
