The best EVER! They made a delicious grooms cake for my fiancé and it was the hit of the wedding! They made a replica of his beloved C-10 pickup that he proposed to me in. He cried when he saw it! Thank you for the amazing detail and fabulous chocolate cake and filling. This is THE place to go for your wedding cakes!
Ordered an ice cream themed cake for my daughters birthday ! From the tasting to the event day Jenny helped me each step of the way ! The cake tasted and looked amazing and next day cake has been delicious to snack on! I highly recommend the sweet life and Jenny’s cakes !!

RecommendedNot only are the cakes beautiful & DELICIOUS, but the staff is very professional! Everyone LOVED both the look and design of our cake, but they also raved about how good it was! Working with the staff at The Sweet Life was such an amazing experience- Jenny took all my ideas and made it real. They made the process of designing and ordering my wedding cake so easy and stress free. The wedding cake was amazingly gorgeous and so delicious! Endless compliments from all of our guests. All around a fantastic bakery. They earned my business and a customer for life.
We ordered a baptism cake (top tier was a naked cake and bottom tier was a smooth finish in buttercream to mimic fondant) and it came out exactly like the picture we sent Jenny. It was also very well supported. Not to mention it was one of the best tasting cakes we’ve had. The chocolate cake with Oreo filling was super delicious!! Jenny was great to work with and we totally will be back for future orders. Very pleased and compared to other Nola area bakeries it’s the best all around in terms of looks, taste, and price!
