I do not recommend this place. The food was cold and a cooker forgot using salt at all.
This place always has open reservation. The view is incredible. The food amazing and the staff very professional

What a great dining experience right on the beach in Malibu. The bar offers classic cocktails and a good selection of wines and craft beers. I ordered one of my favorite cocktails (Negroni) and they hit it spot on perfection! The dinner was a gastronomic feast of Hamachi Crudo (very fresh), Colossal Shrimp cocktail, Mediterranean Grilled Octopus (exceptionally tender). There is nothing but good things to say about The Sunset. I've had a long time relationship with this location over the years in every restaurant that's been here since it first opened many many years ago. With The Sunset, you have the perfect combination of amazing location, friendly reception staff, superb chef and incredible menu. Just the shaved baby artichoke and arugula salad is worth the drive. I ordered mussels and they never brought me a small fork? They never brought me a bowl for the shells? The fries were cold. The Salmon was average at best. Disappointed the view is amazing but they set the tables up so that two out of four people have their back to the ocean. Also too dark inside at night you can't even see the menu
Very good view and happenin' place. Service was great. Great drinks and calamari.
Why did they take the langostinos fish out of the menu??? That was my favorite!!! Over all the octopus dish was delicious, my son and I enjoyed it very much
My son and I had been at the beach and decided to eat here. There wasn't even a wait it was like 5 o'clock in the evening. By the time we left it was packed!! The food was amazing! Great staff!!
