Stopped here for a diner experience on a road trip. 10/10 would recommend. Arrived and was immediately greeted and sat at a table even during a busy time. Sweet tea was amazing! Country Fried Steak was perfect and if you go on a Wednesday you can get rice and gravy which was fabulous. A little off the main highway but 100% want to go back when I’m in the area. Not pictured but the Peanut Butter Pie and Peach Cobbler were phenomenal.
Always wonderful quaint experience. Food and service were 5 star quality. I highly recommend the chicken and waffles with bacon jam!!
The coziest spot around. I got takeout. The chicken and waffles??? The bacon jam??? 🧇 a combo of sweet/savory deliciousness. It’s the first waffle I’ve had in a long time that was light and airy. I got my fiance the country breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese grits, and a biscuit. The cheese grits? Appropriately thick, creamy, and delicious. I fully get the hype!
