I cannot say enough good things about The Sugar House Dentist. I’m currently in Salt Lake City helping my dad through surgery, and of course, my veneer decided to fall off at the worst possible time. Dental issues are stressful enough, but dealing with one while traveling for family reasons felt overwhelming. UPDATE: I hate that I’ve had to change my rating. This office has been absolutely incredible to my daughter and I. Dr. Theurer has always been and will continue to be one of the most incredible people I have ever met. The way he cares about all of his patients is remarkable and you can always feel it. However, he has left so we are searching for a new dentist. Now this is NOT why I changed it to 3 stars. My previous review (seen below) was solely based on Dr. Theurer and the majority of the staff. Dr Theurer is always nice and professional. He has been my dentist for years. Most recently he installed a dental implant to replace a baby tooth that never fell out and received a replacement adult tooth. I am extremely satisfied with the results and the price I paid. Everyone in the office obviously enjoys being part of the family practice. They've been very attentive to the parameters of my insurance and always check for coverage before providing service. Dr. Feringa and her assistant Ellie are the most skilled and gentle dental team I have ever experienced. This is the third crown I've had as an adult, and they were by far the best.
I wasn't thrilled at all about this place. I asked for a quote over the phone to get a wisdom tooth pulled but apparently that was classified and they couldn't tell me so I had to physically come in and they won't tell me how much a consultation would be over the phone either. So I get here today I waited about 5 minutes in the lobby then they took me back lay me down on the seat and they looked inside my mouth for approximately 1 minute and said they can't do nothing for me.
