My wife and I bought a vintage home in Oak Park and wanted to restore parts of the house back to the original look. I definitely recommend Stripp Joynt for refinishing! I'm a GC and have worked with them on a commercial project for an elementary school as well as refinishing my own furniture. They made 100+ year old hand rails and 10 year old furniture look better than new. Flawless finish! In my industry, there are very few companies that I feel 100% confident to recommend and this is one of them.
We had our front door refinished and it looks like brand new! Super happy about the results and that the door will be preserved for decades to come! Definitely would use the astripp Joynt for any future projects!
We used The Stripp Joynt to refurbish the main front door entrance of our Old Irving Park 4-unit apartment building. Moises, Jesus, and their crew - all of them Craftsmen - were able to bring back the beauty of our 100 year old multi-paned glass door and sidelights. This now must look better than the day it was installed in the 1920s! I could not recommend this firm with more enthusiasm!
