The only reason to recommend The Storefront is the location in downtown Staunton. We were sent incomplete access information (no one is on site, ever) and spent nearly half an hour on the sidewalk texting the manager who did not know how to help. There are steep narrow stairs to reach the BR and bathroom, and the amenities are very basic for an expensive hotel - e.g., no tissues and no body lotion and absolutely no place to put anything in the bathroom (a shelf would be nice). Staying at The Storefront was a great and unique experience. Staunton is super walkable and The Storefront is right in the middle of everything.
My family of 4 stayed here and had a wonderful experience! Super close and convenient to everything. Dinner, shopping, breakfast all walkable. If you’re staying here in the winter months bring some extra blankets. It gets quite cold downstairs. My only critique is this stay is on street level. We had people peeking in through the glass which is a bit awkward when your kids are playing on the rug. But over all would stay here again!
Such a charming and unique space! Center of town, close to everything, easy parking.
