Outstanding Hospitality! Our flight on May 1, 2026, into Albany, NY was delayed by 45 minutes, making our arrival time on a cold and rainy night well after 10:30 pm. While waiting for our luggage, I received a text from the hotel letting us know they were waiting for us at the airport to take us to Schenectady and the Stockade Inn. The Stockade Inn isn't even listed on the Albany International Airport Directory as having a Shuttle Service however, if you call them to make a reservation, they will come and get you. A beautiful stay in one of the oldest areas on the East Coast. The only negative was the inability to control the heart in our room. It was very cold outside, but still it seemed far too hot in the room to sleep. Otherwise I couldn't recommend a lodging in the Schenectady area higher. Such comfortable beds. And after a long night of celebrating they were kind though to let us stay in to the early afternoon instead of kicking us out to turnover the room.

We spent two nights here for a weekend trip, and it turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives—my fiancé proposed during our stay. Stayed for the weekend and had a great experience. Zahar was excellent as well as the concierge. The building itself and the location is beautiful. The cafe that’s inside was also delicious. Would definitely recommend staying at the Stockade Inn!
