The Sterling Center (Eliza Borecka)has been a blessing to my family for many years. She is the most caring and compassionate therapist we have ever had...and we have had many well known agencies for a troubled daughter which were all horrible. She not only treats her client but also incorporates the whole family.If I could give her many more stars I would. She is the best and I highly recommend both the Cromwell and Shelton offices. Highly recommend to STAY AWAY from this facility and also the Shelton facility. What they tell you in person and what they write down on paper are 2 different stories. The report that they made is filled with inaccuracies. Strongly suspect that the report was modified at DCF request as it bears so little resemblance to verbal report given at end of sessions. If you fall into DCF purview, do NOT allow them to force you to use this therapist.
