This company is unprofessional. I had 19 hours of personal time left (which they call sick time to avoid having to pay out). Nowhere in my offer letter or in the handbook does it say you lose the hours at the end of their fiscal year. I lost the 19 hours. Had an intro call with HR personnel. Felt judged through out the phone call and was told I was not qualified for a telehealth type position despite having 10 years of experience with a diverse population of pediatric patients. Keep in mind, this is a non-therapist making this assumption. Asked if the individual on the phone had a copy of my resume (which was sent at time of application) and he did not. How are we supposed to trust individuals like this to place us?
