We were visiting Wellsboro and heard from a few people that we should check out The Steak House. We were so glad that we did! From the moment Mindy, our server, greeted us the entire experience was outstanding. The charcuterie board was a great share for 6 people, the Delmonico steak was amazing, and even the desserts were a step above the rest. Great food, warm atmosphere, and super service!
The Delmonico was cooked unbelievably perfect. What an enjoyable experience. The filet mignon probably was slightly overcooked, but still tasty. Service was solid. The place has history and the bar is very picturesque and quaint. Would repeat if ever back in Wellsboro.
Outstanding food and fairly priced. The quality surpassed our expectations. We were very happy with the relaxed atmosphere and not having to rush through our dinner. Jennifer was an excellent waitress and she was very attentive with our drinks. There’s a good reason they have survived for over 50 years and it’s not by taking shortcuts. Whether you’re passing through town or planning a trip this is a place you don’t want to miss.
Excellent service and excellent meal. My steak was perfect and the wife's filet tips were great!
