At The Starving Rooster we believe in quality ingredients, being true to who you are, standing by what you believe in and having respect for all people. Our restaurant, originally built in 1919 for the Altman and Taylor Tractor Company was built on quality and a pride for the things you make. The “starving rooster” logo was used by the company as their brand “moniker.” As legend has it, the Altman Taylor Company made a threshing machine that was of the highest quality and didn’t leave a speck of... read more

Nice decor but horrible weird chairs to sit at. Chipotle mayo yuck. Nice servers but not so smooth. Portions good. There are better places to eat in Minot
Upon a recommendation from a friend, I ventured downtown to the Starving Rooster this morning for their 9am till 2pm Sunday only brunch. I had a delicious Tex-Mex chorizo breakfast burrito the size of my head and a side of fresh fruit. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the wait staff is top-notch. Maybe the best brunch in town for a Sunday morning! People of America, these are the places you want to stay open forever so go out and support them!
My favorite part about the Starving Rooster is the Sunday brunch! The breakfast pizzas are delicious and the prime rib Bennie was absolutely wonderful with a hollandaise that was spot on! I REALLY wish that brunch was served on Saturdays at the Minot location as well! Just a warning however, if you want to do the bottomless mimosas, get there early as I have went later during the brunch service and the champagne had run out. Not to worry though as the other brunch drinks made up for it!
Fantastic food and great service! Try the Cuban panini and the turtle cheesecake. Yum!
Always good! Well at least the pulled pork sandwich is. It's the only thing I've ever ordered!
Delicious food! Loved the pizza so much we had to get one to go!
