About this business

At The Starving Rooster we believe in quality ingredients, being true to who you are, standing by what you believe in and having respect for all people. Our restaurant, originally built in 1919 for the Altman and Taylor Tractor Company was built on quality and a pride for the things you make. The “starving rooster” logo was used by the company as their brand “moniker.” As legend has it, the Altman Taylor Company made a threshing machine that was of the highest quality and didn’t leave a speck of... read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Minot. Very tasty food, with generous portions, coupled with great service and reasonable prices. The curbside service right now is quite helpful. Will definitely be returning when dining room opens up again. Keep up the great work

Order the curb side pickup. We ordered the prime rib stroganoff, and it was excellent. PLENTY of food for the price, and great desserts to go with the salad, entree, and garlic bread.

We ordered the curb side pick up today. Prime rib stroganoff, salad, garlic toast, and two desserts. Amazing taste and value. More food than six of us could eat. Highly recommend this and will order often. I hope you continue this amazing service after this crazy time passes.

We had an awesome take out meal last night from Starving Rooster! Our salmon was excellent with side of potatoes and a delicious salad! Also a carrot cake that was out of this world! We highly recommend!🥰😋 Blaine & Kathy DesLauriers

We ordered curbside pick-up last night. The veggie pasta meal for 6 and it was delicious! Came with a fresh salad and yummy garlic bread. Highly recommend during this time of self-quarantining if you are tired of cooking!

Got the sriracha chicken dinner entree. Food took 20 minutes longer than the rest of my party, and when it came out it might as well have been a microwavable meal for 1 from wal mart. It was nothing like what was described on the menu. Not worth the $13.
