I am now cancer free! Yesterday was hopefully ,my last appointment there. Thanks to Dr Holahan! I feel so blessed!
First visit, the treating Dr forgot to call and let us know what kind of cancer. Had to call 6 weeks later, and she said it was on her ,"to do list , but she forgot" 2 nd visit, I asked for a letter for Social security Disability. She Never sent it to us, or a copy of 2 nd bill to turn in to disability. Never received copies of labs. Disbability Dr said there was controversy about receiving SS Disability because I was NOT currently on treatments. I have multiple comorbidities, never been denied, but it's been 4 months. Dr. Conde and staff have been excellent in treating my mom with triple negative breast cancer. They go above and beyond what most doctors do. I am so pleased my mom agreed to travel from Corpus to get her treatments because she has received excellent care.
This is a very wonderful group of people. I feel so blessed, I know they care and understand. The doctor has been honest and forthcoming. Thank you Jesus.
I couldn't have been more blessed when referred to Dr. James Mark at the Start center. He along with his staff; Jessica, Bertha, and Laura have been very helpful in making sure that I was not only comfortable but also ensured that I would be well taken care of. Caring, knowledgeable and attentive is how I describe them.
It's a scary thing to go through these things alone, the staff at the start center were so friendly and show so much compassion towards the patients the people I'm thankful and blessed. Please keep the patients and staff in prayer. Life is short enough, you never know what someone else is up against, be kind and love one another just as He (Jesus ) loves us.
