Beautiful grounds with a cozy lobby are where you can browse books, lounge by the fires, have afternoon tea or a drink. Both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes and rode along the old logging road by the river. To top it off, the front desk team offered excellent customer service! We hope to return for a weekend again.
We loved our time at the Stanford Inn! It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway for our anniversary. The location is very close to the downtown area to explore all that Mendocino has to offer. Definitely check out the beautiful gardens on site, and take some time to explore their great book collection while enjoying a beverage. The resort also has a relaxing indoor pool and sauna. This was our first time staying here and I cannot wait to come back. Everything was impeccable. The restaurant was superb, grounds immaculate. We even enjoyed a bike ride along the river before dinner. Hot tub is nice and hot! Zero complaints!
