A mix of edge and ease. The rooms are sleek and comfortable, with floor-to-ceiling windows. Morning coffee tastes better when you’re watching the skyline wake up. The service is genuinely warm, quick help when you need it. You can feel the city’s pulse outside, but inside it’s calm, polished, and a little indulgent. Cool, collected, relaxed vibe. And of course you can’t beat the location. Looking forward to my next stay.
This hotel is awful. My flight was cancelled due to weather. I had booked my stay using points and reached out to the hotel immediately. They directed me to email someone and advise of the situation, after receiving no communication from them at all the next day I was charged over 500. I called multiple times, no answer and sitting on hold for over 10 minutes each call. I spent this past weekend at The Standard with my daughter and felt right at home in The Standard! Staff let us check in when we arrived and we were able to get settled and then went down to the café for lunch. After lunch, we headed to the Met, And then to a Broadway show after dinner. Staff were very accommodating, offered us the use of an umbrella for a rainy weekend and went up and beyond for anything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
I recently stayed at The Standard, East Village and had a lovely experience. From the moment I arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming—special thanks to Lee at the front desk, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
