Pros: The front desk is absolutely wonderful! So kind and friendly and helpful. They even surprised me with a birthday treat! The location is fantastic. Close to everything. Day passes for Crunch Fitness. So convenient. Not noisy at all! Great sleep. They give you two Saratoga waters each day. So lovely! Cons: The hotel room is just so tiny. LOVED this hotel stay. The team working there when I visited were some of the best hospitality people I’ve ever encountered. It honestly feels like right before my arrival there was a staff meeting and everyone was asked to make sure I had the best stay ever. Every single interaction was gracious and friendly and genuine. Honestly, from walking in the front door to checking out, everything at The Standard East Village was phenomenal! The style and design was classic yet updated and fresh. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and engaging. Our room was spacious and bright; the unobstructed view of the city was nothing short of amazing! The hotel was quiet and the bath products were luxurious and smelled great - I wanted to purchase them for myself to use at home. Everyone I interacted with at the Standard EV was warm, helpful, and impressive. The front desk was efficient and had a wealth of knowledge. The waiters at the restaurant were attentive and friendly. I was upgraded (because of Hyatt Globalist) to a room with a bath and the bath made my room/stay.
