My husband and I visited The Springwood for the first time last night. We went just to try the oysters and were VERY happy with the freshness and flavour of the oysters. They were presented with a in house made chutney, and hot sauce and a freshly shaved horseradish condiment. The servers were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and has a mid-century feel to it. We will definetly be returning to this wonderful hidden little gem in whitby again.
I really love The Springwood. The food is genuinely amazing — some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Unfortunately, I’ve recently developed some food intolerances, and because of the smaller seasonal tasting menu, there were very few options available that could accommodate my dietary needs.
