Came in on the fly 7pm on a Friday. Was able to be seen for a walk in. Gene took care of me. Gene listened and nailed it. Perfect fade great straight razor part. Attention to detail for wayward beard hairs and pesky neck hairs. Thanks Gene!

Needed a cut and looked like I’d lost a fight in Paynes Prairie. I was in Gainesville for the night, looked this place up, and landed in Gene’s chair. Guy’s a legend. He’s from Long Island, lived in the Keys, and tells stories like he’s headlining a bar in Key West. Offered me a drink when I walked in, and I was in the chair within 10 minutes. I didn’t know what to expect walking in but my man nick did a phenomenal job. Great atmosphere, great haircut, and great hospitality. I really appreciated everything they did and how welcoming they made me feel. I would recommend this to anyone in Gainesville if you’re looking for a trustworthy spot to get your haircut, I had no complaints about anything what so ever and my haircut came out amazing.
