This was my first time going to The Spot. Joe's Farm Grill was packed so my boyfriend and I decided to open up Urbanspoon and there it was! The atmosphere was unique-small but not claustrophobic and eclectically decorated. The loft is especially cute (which is where we had our fare). The food is best described as American Gourmet. At least I think so. I had the spot sliders, Chicago style, and loved them. It's reasonably priced and service is fast. I will definitely be returning!

Food is great, service is awful. We were thrilled to find an American food place that delivered, it's a shame that no one there seems to communicate with anyone else or know what they're doing. We had several items on our order not in the bag so we called back and were told they would send someone back out to deliver the rest. We waited a full hour before calling again and asking for a manager who had then left for the night. They told us the manager would call us back the following day, which never happened either. Have had 3 great experiences here. Food is awesome , a couple bucks more than the other guys but quality, service and portion size make it well worth it!

The staff was helpful, since i hadn't eaten here before. Though the inside is small, I think that adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The Spot burger was absolutely worth it! The apple struedel dessert was fresh and flavorful. I definitely recommend supporting this neighborhood restaurant. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.
