A “pain management” doctor that doesn’t prescribe pain medication/ narcotics. We went through this whole process to get my mom, who is currently in a nursing home, in to see a pain management doctor for the sole purpose of adjusting her pain meds only to learn that this doctor doesn’t prescribe pain meds! I even tried to see if they could do some of the other things that she needs, that other pain management doctors do like nerve conductivity testing… nope. Dr. Nagar is amazing. He is the first spine Dr I have met with in 10 years that has actually made an effort to help me find pain relief without opioids. He listens, he cares and he wants to find ways to solve the problem.
I called on April 11, 2017 for an appointment and got an appointment for April 21. My last x-ray was February 2016 I asked if I would need new x-rays before this appointment and I was told just to arrive to my appointment and everything would be taken care of. I arrived to my 1:15 appointment five minutes early filled out all my paperwork and then was told I needed x-rays and they were booked for x-rays so I will have to reschedule my appointment.
