We have dined at The Lodges at Gettysburg previously for both Christmas breakfast and Easter lunch and had very positive experiences, which is why we chose to return for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing compared to our past experiences. We were seated at a small table in a corner right next to a fire extinguisher that felt cramped for our party. My family and I stayed in the Indiana lodge. It was beautiful and spacious with wonderful views. The property itself is stunning! Staff was kind and helpful. I did wake up in the middle of the night to see a Confederate soldier apparition standing near the end of the bed. Made eye contact with me and then looked toward the bedroom window and continued walking that direction. It was…wild. Will def stay again. It’s located right next to the battlefields and you can see Little and Big round top from the property.
