I went to this spa on a girl's trip, the first time ever being on a trip away from my baby. I booked a massage at a price point of over $300 when tip is included. I've been to many a spa at various price points. This experience was the most bizarre and not relaxing spa experience I've ever had because they allow children into the spa. This is really a 3.5. The services and staff of the spa itself were pretty good. (Besides one of us getting some gnarly bruising from the deep tissue massage.) This isn’t really a reflection on them at all. I booked a spa day for two with services in the morning and afternoon, with poolside lunch in between. This wasn’t the place to do that, at all. I’m giving it 2 stars for the massage. It felt great. But I’m deducting 3 stars due to the fact that the massage was rushed - definitely not the full time. But the real kicker was that once we got into the locker room to use the amenities, shower, and get ready for our dinner… we were circled by hawks that clearly wanted us to leave so they could close up shop as FAST as possible and get out there (maybe because it’s a Friday night?). I just had the best manicure and pedicure in Chicago at the Four Seasons Spa and Salon. I am traveling here on business and was looking to spend some down time to relax and get pampered a bit. I had a fantastic pedicure, and a gel manicure. Brigita was just lovely, she is so super friendly, personable, and I enjoyed every minute with her - and she did an absolutely wonderful job on my mani and pedi.
