Apartment is beautiful and offers an amazing walkway to medical district. Staff is always friendly and fast to help with service requests. Mike is an amazing manager who is willing to help with anything, very funny and knowledgeable. In terms of looks, when we first moved in, there are spots where walls or paint are messily applied/fixed so do not expect a perfect luxury looking apartment. My stay here began excellently but turned into a nightmare. 3 major issues in 1 month. The AC water started leaking everywhere in my living room, the washing machine stopped working (took about 3 weeks to fix this) and now today the kitchen sink is OVERFLOWING without even me using it. Came back to a garbage smelling home. Submitted an emergency request at 7:15-ish evening. The maintenance person calls within 5 minutes but says “oh I can come tomorrow morning” like it’s not something immediate. Thought of giving 2 stars just... read more
Lived here for 2 years and had 3 major issues. The first to mention is the move-in process: multiple utilities were out of order. The second and third issues were pests coming out from below the shower. Overall, average apartment and management.
I have lived here since 1/2024. The management team has changed once but everyone has been a joy to deal with and very accommodating! When living in apartments, you’re not sure what type of neighborhood you will have. However, here at The Southwestern, I’ve never been afraid to walk Nextdoor for food or up the street for exercise. The gated community has been comforting and seeing neighbors on a regular basis waving is a testament to the type of people that are allowed to live here.
