Not sure what has gotten into this organization lately, but they seem to be more interested in pushing a political agenda than supporting small business in South Carolina.
Don't forget to sign up for the office supply/copies discount card.
This organization strives to protect small Businesses by realizing so many businesses depend on tourism . Offshore oil will damage - if not -decimate small businesses along our SC coast .
Interning at The SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce gave me experience in event planning, writing for the organization and a higher understanding of social media analytics. The working environment is great and there are always opportunities for new interns, so I would recommend that any student or recent graduate look into this organization if they are looking for a way to build there resume and gain real world experience for their career.
Great resource for small businesses in South Carolina.
This SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce does not do anything to help business owners. same money and join the real Chamber of Commerce instead. There are no networking events, they just take your money and you never hear anything back.
Business response:
The SC Small Business Chamber has no record of the company you are affiliated with as ever being a member and certainly not a dues-paying member. We constantly communicate with our members regarding our activities and position on issues. We have a strong 15-year track record of success in fighting utility and workers’ compensation rate increases, reducing small business state income tax, supporting worker training, promoting renewable energy, etc. All of this and more can be found on our website (www.scsbc.org) under issues
I have enjoyed every minute I have spent with the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce! Seeing how they try to go above and beyond for all small businesses across the state is something that is really contributing to this great state as a whole. I would definitely recommend at least taking a look at some of the great benefits that joining the SCSBCC could bring to your business.
Interning at the South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce has been such a great learning experience. Working with people who are eager for change and willing to put in the time to see that change happen is very motivating and inspiring. I come to work everyday ready and prepared to tackle the next challenge ahead and that is partially due to the environment created at the Chamber.
The South Carolina Small Business Chamber of Commerce has a 4.6 star rating with 13 reviews.
