I would love to give a shoutout to nurse Mary who works in cardiology. I came in for a repeat ECG after having an abnormal ECG months prior. She asked me if I was here for a pre-surgery ECG or a diagnostic ECG. I explained my situation briefly before I became very scared and started crying. Mary displayed zero hesitation in comforting me. She gave me a hug and treated me like her own child. She allowed me as much time as I needed to calm down before doing the test. 43 minutes and counting while I wait on hold with the business office. The repetitive piano solo music and occasional ads for their pharmacy are so completely annoying.
Somebody used my debit card info to pay their bill at south bend clinic. Apparently they do NOT care and have ZERO way of looking it up by amount or my debit card info. So they do NOT verify payments for patients and help thieves get away with fraud. Congrats south bend clinic for being more worried about taking a payment than verifying if it was even legitimate or connected to the patient getting away with a crime.
