I called the Sod Hawg early summer to go over our front yard transformation from a yard full plants to a clean yard for the kiddo to play with. Randy was nice enough to come out to the house and go over the plans to make sure we had the sq ft correct and we ordered the right kind of sod. We finally got the yard ready and I called Randy to let him know we were ready. The following day we had a pallet delivered and installed. I would NOT RECOMMEND using this "company". I put company in quotes because they do not have a physical location (the address on their website is not valid). The prices on Bermuda were very good ($145/pallet), but I quickly found out you get what you pay for. The rolls I ordered (at the recommendation of the salesperson) were dry and thin. I also paid for them to install it, which was a huge mistake. I got the run around from the salesperson and the installer for 5 days while my sod rolls sat in the yard. Great salesman (Mike) , but the work was started, I had to go to town, I got back a few hours later, they laid the 12 rolls of sod,,,BUT to leave gaps , mud track on the sod , holes in the sod and I still need about 4 rolls it 2 pallets to complete the job. I tried to contact the office several times to no answer or call back. Gave them 2 stars just for the salesman , (WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.)
Did not deliver sand in the quoted time frame before big rain. Set me back a week. Take your business elsewhere.
