I had high expectations due to the price, but felt that the food was mediocre. The brisket, pulled pork, and sausage were "fine." I feel let down, and hope I caught the cooks on a bad day
Well, the motto of this place should be, "We make fat guys happy!" By far, the best "Q" in SF. Juicy, just enough chew, flavor explodes like a BBQ volcano! The Mac and cheese is phenomenal, the pasta salad is off the charts and the cornbread is as country as you can get! The hash brown casserole is meh. Such a great experience! We stopped in for some smoked brisket and we were pleasantly surprised by how relaxed and quiet the atmosphere wa. It made it so easy to actually sit, talk, and enjoy the meal without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. The food was exactly what you hope for.
