Absolutely the best BBQ I have had in my entire life!
The food was generous portions and very good. The one thing that was different than other restaurants was they serve your food on a lunch tray with a sturdy paper cover on it. No plates unless you get a salad. The restaurant was very busy when we were there at lunch on a Thursday but it didn't take long for us to get our food and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and left stuffed. Thumbs up to the Smoke pit.
This place was bomb!!! We are from Az and by chance followed god to a location we had no clue about and first time ever it did not disappoint!! Sauce bomb, food bomb and ginormous portions#foodcoma
Always great food! Definitely worth the trip. We always take our out of town guests there and the brisket always gets rave reviews. The portions are big giving you plenty for next day leftovers. Yum!
This place is simply amazing! I went over 10 years without eating beef and pork. After testing out steak and bacon, to make sure I didn't get sick, my boyfriend took me to the Smoke Pit for the first time last year and I've been faithful to them ever since! Now I'm patiently waiting on the Salisbury location to open!
The barbecue was delicious! It had great flavor and was moist, not dry. The ribs tasted awesome, but were a little dry and chewy. The brisket had good flavor, and the pulled bbq chicken was wonderful, although a tad spicy. I liked the overall flavor of the barbecued baked beans, but they had peppers in them, and spice is not my thing. The cole slaw was more of a tangy slaw than a sweet slaw. Pork was moist, smoke was understated, bark was inconsistent (great on some bites, too peppery on others) portions too large for one sitting, sweet tea was good, the spicy sauce was the highlight. Overall good not great. Not worth the hype. If you are interested in the best in BBQ this isn't it.
This is the BEST BBQ in the state , don't believe it ? Well go try for yourself . If you don't go it is your loss !!!!!
Visiting our daughter and family, and we had dinner here. Absolutely the best BBQ we've had!!!!
