I had a horrible experience at the Smithtown Smilist Dental and would not recommend them to anyone. My 89 year old mother had an appointment last Friday December 2nd at 1:30 pm as we were getting ready to leave for the appointment they called to cancel 45 minutes before the appointment saying the teeth where not delivered. The office manager Gina was out for the rest of Friday and would not call me back. They did a bait and switch on me. They said the surgeon takes my plan. I called and asked are you sure he takes my plan and they said yes but when I was examined they say you need this and that but he doesn't take your plan but we can work something out. When I complained they said oh we will talk to the girl you spoke to. BS.

Great Surgerons. They are wonderful. But scheduling appoinments with the Lacey office omg what a nightnare. Even to get Appoinment for routine check up is A ordeal.. They think nobody works or has school. And when they do call you because they had a cancelation and you can't come in because of work, they cancel your orgional appoinment because they are mad you couldn't come when they asked. As it is great and appericated that they do call and ask if you eant to come in sooner. But if you can't you can't. But don't cancel ... read more

I absoutley love the surgeons at encore. I think they are wonderful. My husband had A lot of work done and his recovery was great. I believe that is duel to great surgeons. But what is a turn off is the way things are handled. My son has tp have a procedure from oral surgeon. You know the surgeon wanted to do it the day of the consultation but my son was scared so he wouldnt. He is 12. I must be the only one with a bad experience. New dentist had to replace 2 crowns that are 8 months old because they weren't set properly and am paying out of pocket, was overcharged and promised it would be resolved. Now they hired "professionals" for bookkeeping. Never got my records when he sold his Olney practice. His staff was unresponsive. Amazing, for the great reviews I got scammed so bad I can't believe I am the only who had this experience.

I had a bridge done at Encore. It had to be sent back once and after it was put in, it fell out and I had to go back again to have it cemented better.. It felt funny, but the dentist told me I would get used to it. 1 1/2 year later it came out again. I went to a different dentist and he had to do work on it. It was put in and now feels a lot better than the original time I had it put it. I would not recommend Encore Dental

My name is Zack Routsis, on February 2019 I went to see Dr. Salem to talk with him about my teeth which was a problem in my entire life. Dr. Salem did a major overhaul in my mouth with his knowledge, his patience, and his integrity, installed 21 crowns and two bridges with success, This has made me feel like new person. I comfortably recommend Dr. Salem and his entire office. Hey and something else Dr. Salem is very conscientious
