Great looking pictures online and walk in and looks nice. Then you hear the wood floors and people above you with a dog and it took 3 hours to heat up the room. The rain shower head in the bathroom looked nice but worked horrible and water was everywhere. There was leftover hair in the drain and all the dishes and cooking utensils were dusty. The fridge decided to defrost and hot water everywhere. Hard pass for future trips!
Wonderful stay at the Skowhegan Spinning Mill. Everything was Superb!
This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in the United States. 1 hour drive from Sugarloaf, best than any lodges near the resort. No doubts.
This was my third stay at The Skowhegan, and I appreciated how much more complete the Hotel was since my first stay when there was still so much construction happening and many of the listed amenities were not yet available. My room this time was my favourite, with windows providing lots of natural light and great views of the River, and the dam. The housekeeping staff are lovely and very helpful.
