Found the shrimp boat on our way to assateague last summer. It is our go to place for crabs now. We love the 11-3 1.50 weekday crab special! The service is always outstanding. We love the shrimp sample..I've never been able to have anyone to convince me to eat a shrimp that was cooked with it's head on like they do here. We have also tried the soft shelled crab sandwich which is to die for!! Love the shrimp boat!!!
Food was AMAZING! Our waitress Ruth was Super Friendly! The place was very busy and we had a little wait but it was WORTH IT! Just allow yourself some time. We actually went 2 days in a row and will definitely go back! We had both Med. & Lg. Maryland Blue Crabs - Best we've had Anywhere!, Md Lump Crab Chowder, Crab Dip on Focaccia Bread, Med. & Lg. Shrimp (HUGE & DELICIOUS), Crabcakes, Fried Chincoteague Oysters & yummy sides! Owner/Mgr. walked around checking on everyone's experience. Highly Recommend!
Delicious steamed shrimp! Enough said! It's my go place for fresh shrimp and I am local.
Had a great time at the Shrimp Boat last night. Everything was delicious and Ruth provided some hilarious entertainment. We will definitely be coming back!
Poor service....food never came out after sitting for an hour and a half...we left..would not recommend
Wonderful place! Great food and some of the friendliest waitstaff you will meet.
