RecommendedThe crabs are always great and the crab cakes are EXCELLENT! Oh and those fried green beans 😍!
My shrimp was over cooked, almost burnt. The crab imperial my wife ordered was very salty and not much crab. Apparently, they have issues with their water, it has a bad taste that they cannot eliminate even with double filtering. Their sides were mediocre but the hush puppies were outstanding. They have that going for them! We did not bring this to management's attention.

Just had our second meal at the Shrimp Boat, great crab, flounder, shrimp salad sandwich and hush puppies! Looking forward to next visit. Staff and owner very nice!
Been going here before it became as big as it is now. Best shrimp ever!!!
We thought it was a little expensive for a small blah restaurant. grouper bites were excellent. crab soup could use less sherry and more crab flavor. jambalaya was just like a Manhattan clam chowder with rice on top. the iced tea was excellent. $75 at a little hole in the wall no atmosphere place. too expensive.
the crabs were packed and yummy. also the cream of crab soup was real good..the shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. nice staff.
