Girls day outing led us here. 3 stories! GREAT spaces in all 3. Each with a unique 'feel'. Rooftop for when it's nice, Ground floor has that garage feel And enough space for abandoned some dance floor action, Basement is extremely cozy with furniture of all kinds arranged in great sitting spaces. Has that prohibition kind of feel.
My Army Reserve unit recently returned from deployment and held our Dining Out/Yellow Ribbon/Change of Command event at The Shop. I am also a member of the Local 4 Firefighter union so I was familiar with the facility, but I had never been to an event there. From beginning to end, the planning process with Mary and the staff was great! Mary is so friendly and helpful. Went for a puzzle, beer, pizza competition and had a great time! Space is beautiful too.
The Shop is a great location with lots to offer with a large hall and a rooftop patio. The Des Firefighters are great hosts.
