we stayed here while playing rtj golf the shoals courses. the front desk staff is the best. all the rooms have been redone. theres a bar and restaurant onsite plus the outback steakhouse is right next door. i do recommend this hotel.
I have stayed at this hotel quite a few times in the past few years as I come back home to visit family. Each stay has progressively gotten worse. They are and have been "remodeling" for a couple of years or so now. My last stay for a week, well, was pretty bad. First, I had read online they were having problems paying their bills and the power was turned off a couple of days before I was to arrive. Luckily, they got that corrected, so I thought. My husband and I was going to stay at the hotel for a DAV convention. The hotel was horrible. When we first arrived the room wasnt clean. SO we had to wait an hour. An hour later, the receptionist told us that the room we were about to get was occupied by someone who is not checking out. So they decided to give us another room. The new room had mildew in it and it made my husband have a severe asthma attack. He was rushed to the hospital.
