Went there for the first time today, the atmosphere was great! The severs were very nice and funny! And the food was phenomenal! May make this place a Sunday morning ritual.
This is a hidden gem in Putnam! The food is really good with big portions & our waitress is very attentive while keeping us smiling & laughing with her comments (which we look forward to). We go every month with a group of friends for breakfast. I highly recommend going to The Shire Cafe, especially if you are a fan of The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings!
It took forever to get my food, so I got it to go and they gave me someone else's order twice.
Best gluten-free pancakes and waffles I've ever had... the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the menu is very reasonably priced - especially since the portions here are YUGE. Super cute "Lord of the Rings" theme and every time we go it feels like we're visiting family, because that's who runs the place, a local family!
