What another amazing Sunday breakfast at The Shire. I have been going here for a while now and have yet to try something I didn't absolutely love. If you're a foodie like my boyfriend and I, this is the place to go. Great customer service, kind and professional staff, and the food is amazing. Did I mention they have pastries?! So glad this place exists! You need to check it out if you haven't yet.

Excellent soups and sandwiches for lunch at reasonable prices! My food has always been ready within minutes of ordering, which is great when you need to hurry and get back to work. Service is always prompt and courteous. Can't wait to try breakfast next time!!!
I've been wanting to stop in and today I had the opportunity to.. 1st let me start by saying that the staff was WONDERFUL and knowledgeable. I tried a "special sandwich" I believe it was called the Snyder it was OUTSTANDING!! it came with pickles & fresh, warm homemade chips I believe it was $8.50 and worth every penny!!! Amazing food and the nicest people! The monkey bread french toast is out of this world! The muffins and cupcakes are incredible. You can't beat the prices either. This is my new favorite spot! I definitely recommend it!

My boyfriend and I have always gone to a certain local breakfast place in putnam. But this morning we decided to try the Shire. It was the most amazing breakfast we have EVER had! The cornmeal pancakes we so good we couldn't stop eating them. And everything else was perfect! For the food you get the prices don't even seem like enough. As well as delicious food the service is always so welcoming. We cannot wait to go back (tomorrow morning) and will b or to go place for breakfast from now on!
We went there for lunch and it was really good food with great pricing. Then, two weeks ago, we happened to be at a Jack&Jill party for one of their family members....they made a fabulous cake for the couple!!! It was very moist, very tasty, and quite beautiful. The frosting was to die for. The cake was so good that I took a plastic cup and snuck some home. Well ok, I took two cupfuls home. It was just that good.
