I’ve been working with the team at Discovery Commons Bethel Park for about 5 months now. I’m blown away by their dedication to their residents and staff. They are truly there to make a difference!
This place is a joke. If you care about your loved ones, don’t send them here. Rude staff, terrible food, waiting forever to be assisted. The manager Mary or Maureen that tells you about the place completely oversells it, don’t expect it to be anything what they say. Ive been hearing too how poorly staff get treated there from many people, no wonder they have no good workers. Moving to a new place is such a hassle but I guess its what its come down to. My grandma has lived here for quite some time and used to receive excellent care from caregivers she truly liked. Unfortunately, over the past couple of months, the facility has gone noticeably downhill and many of the good staff members seem to be gone. I’m an RN, and when I’ve tried speaking with the nursing staff about my grandma’s care, they often seem unsure or uninformed.
