Great place located close it you takeout call pick up is quick, weekend, holidays and special days (mother's day, fathers day) is a very long wait, great food
Food was very bland , almost tasted like it was boiled in just plain water with no seasoning and items in the Low Country Boil must have been all cook by them self and not togather. No taste at all !!! And for the amount of food vs what you paid is very poor !!!! Carb Shack on Tuberfor me !!!!!!!!!!!!

This was almost worth the wait. We live in Germany and this was my planned 1st meal when we got back to the states. The food was great. The service was okay once we got seated. The hostess never called us for seating. They scratched our name of the list so after waiting an hour I realized that no one was being called do I went and asked what happened. They were standing around talking and said we don't know how that happened. But the waitress that seated us said this particular hostess has done this a few times.
Crab legs seasoned to perfection! Had a great time with the Birthday girls!

We went to The Shellhouse Restaurant last night for my birthday. I heard about it from a friend and had wanted to try it for some time. I am so glad we veered off course of our original plans and decided to take a chance! The food was phenominal! The batter on the shrimp was light, not greasy at all, and tasted perfect. The Mahi Mahi was cooked to perfection, and the Crab Legs were so SO good! The service was SPOT ON and they did not rush us one bit, even though we were late arrivals and the last to leave.
