The Pemaquid Ale is among my favorite brews from many I've tried all around the world. Had the opportunity to visit the tasting room the other day (note, the hours are infrequent, so keep your eye on their Facebook page for opening times!) and tried a few others. Don't let the appearance of the place put you off. The brews are super. We tried their Pale Ale, Double IPA and Brown Ale are all excellent. The IPA is similar to others you've tried. But, it was the Pemaquid Ale that we refilled our growler with for the Super Bowl.
The brewery is one of the reasons I love living in Maine
The beer was great. My favorite was old sow. The scenery is gorgeous. Steve the Brewer is very nice. The popcorn is soooo good. And the bonus is you get to kick the ball to bower. Will be back.
Stopped by on a random road trip, they closed but the owner Steve invited us in to taste some delicious beer! Great hospitality and delicious beer! We will definitely be back!
Man I love his beers/ale!. It's all about the yeast - who would've thought that?
