Might want to rethink the ordering process. It was our first time but we were able to figure it out pretty quickly by following the other customers. While we were eating 2 other couples came in and had no idea where to go and another customer showed them. Also the way the registers are setup it's easy to get skipped in the ordering process. If you end up between registers people behind you get to order first. The spicy bbq sauce dispenser was also clogged and exploded all over my wifes shirt. Lived in Gulfport for a year, worked in Biloxi for a couple years managing a branch location for Manning Building Supplies, Jacksonville, Fl. Very proud being a part of the rebuilding after Katrina! Love you guys and I'm coming your way for a visit in February! Don't forget, I will be visiting my fellow Shed Heads at "The Shed" both in Ocean Springs (original) and Gulfport, Mississippi (where I autographed the "new" Tiki bar in 2009) on 10/24/09!
Maybe it was an off night, but the brisket just wasn't as I had expected. I have had the same place on a different night and it rocked. Made me wish I had ordered the ribs.
Best q had in a long time. Went out of our way to go there twice, going and coming, on a recent trip to central Mississippi. Staff it's great, food it's great, ambiance is outstanding! Got leftovers in the fridge, thing I'll polish then off...

I hated to give it even 1 star. I like NOTHING about the food, atmosphere or management. You want great BBQ? Go to Rob's on the Side in Pascagoula.
We have looked forward to eating at The Shed for sooooo long, but we DID NOT LIKE IT. Period. We ordered the sampler platter for $26, and it was not a good value for the money (1 star). While the potato salad was the best thing on the plate (3.5 stars-\-\ needed salt), the brisket was passable (also 3 stars). The baked beans were below average (2 stars), the macaroni salad was disgusting and watery (can I give less than 1 star? I spit out the one bite I took). The atmosphere was great, the food was awesome. Recommend this place to everyone.
