Ok, we used to visit the Shed in Vancleave before it got so popular. Then we would go to Hattiesburg and to Gulfport when they were open and loved it. We “were” Shedheads! We went to Vancleave yesterday and the food was ok but the dining was miserable. It was 38 degrees outside and it was freezing inside as well. It was so cold in there my wife and I finally had to pack up our food and go eat in the truck. Portions were smaller than they used to be for the brisket. Me and my Ex Girlfriend drove from Tampa Florida to New Orleans. While on our trip I happen to see a sign that sayes BBQ I figured why not go. I am glad I went the bbq here is better then any other bbq I have had and I have lived all over the east coast. Do yourself a favor and when you see that sign off of the highway take that exit you won’t regret it.
Tried the combo platter with a friend and all of the meats were tasty and tender. The only bad part was the table we sat at. It was in the path of a strong fan that cooled our food down pretty quick. Next time we would pick a different table��.
Stop there passing by lunch to go they must have gave me some rib that didn't sell the day before definitely won't go back
Took my 17 year old son here today for lunch and it was fantastic! The potato Salad was the best I’ve ever tasted. We will be back.

We love this place. We ordered a big sampler and shared it amongst like 6 of us. Meat fall off the bone tender. Mac & Cheese was creamy and so good. I highly recommend this place. Great atmosphere.
My only complaint is they give you way to much food lol. Everything was great me and my two kids 21,19 got the 7 meat platter with three sides and we didn't even come close to finishing it. All food was on point tasted great I can see why they have won so many awards.
