Excellent, comfortable room with impeccable service. We stayed during a rare torrential downpour and the hotel staff recommended a nice shopping mall. Dinner and breakfast at Butterfly excellent, as was the service. Relatively walkable area, especially for LA, with restaurants and things to do near the hotel. We will happily return!
Another nice stay at The Shay.
Just wrapped up a stay at The Shay in Culver City and wanted to share a quick data point for fellow Globalists. Used a Category 7 free night certificate and felt it was very strong value for West LA. Globalist recognition was excellent. The staff was genuinely warm and welcoming, not just going through the motions. The hotel was completely sold out so no upgrades were available, but I want to call out that the front desk proactively checked for something better without me even asking.
