Great little lodge here in Newland. The room and bathroom are nicely updated and comfortable. We brought our doggo with us and they are pet friendly! Nice place to stay after sightseeing Linville Gorge/Wiseman’s View for the day!!!
You can not find a better place to stay. My wife loved it. The room was very clean, great bathroom, and comfortable bed. The young man that check us in also give us a the senior citizen discount. Everyone was friendly and helpful. This hotel is a 5 star place. We plan on going back for another stay in the future.

Been staying at the Shady Lawn Lodge for for last 3 years. The staff is amazing and very accommodating to all our needs. Looking forward to our visit in August for the Bristol Night Race.
