Updated Review (revised from 1 star to 3 stars): I’m updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars for two reasons. First, after the package theft shortly after we moved in, the apartment management responded with a positive attitude. They issued a policy violation notice to the resident involved and made improvements to the LuxerOne locker system to enhance security. Had been living here for over 5 years and it's a pleasure to live here. The leasing office here is very responsible and nice. The neightbood is nice and the location is pretty good. Two blocks away from 101 and 1 mile from MTV downtown and you could just walk to safeway.

Mira, I give one star because these walls are made of old tortillas. I am sitting in my kitchen, and I can hear my neighbor next door thinking. But the real problem is the bathroom. It is like a 'Community Toilet' through the wall. I can hear my neighbor, El Tio, in there every morning. He is a very loud man. I hear the 'plop,' I hear the 'splash,' and then I hear him groaning and grunting like he is fighting a Brahma Bull in there! It sounds like a rodeo behind my mirror. been here for 10 months. pay like 3.5k. door next to me got through major renovation, for the past 8 months? monday thru friday, 9-5 pm, 5-6 guys working, loud, talking, drilling etc. 8 months man. they told me it’d be done 2 months ago, still going at it. they make 30 story buildings in china in a month.. the garbage truck will come at 8 am every week. you will wake up. the leaf blower dude will start blasting it at 8 am sharp. you can literally hear the highway from inside. there are 2 huge car washes at the intersection w... read more

I’ve lived at Shadows for over a year now and I’ve absolutely loved it. The environment is peaceful and provides everything my family was looking for in an apartment. The manager Indira has been nothing but helpful to me and my family. They also have a playground for the little ones which was a huge plus for me!
